Zoals aangegeven betreft het ook dit keer het geven van bijles aan kinderen die moeilijk met de reguliere lessen mee kunnen komen. De gelden worden ook dit jaar weer gebruikt voor de aanschaf van alle lesmaterialen, daarbij valt te denken aan boeken, printpapier, toners etc.
Door deze bijlessen komt een goede toekomst van die kinderen een stap dichterbij. Stichting Ayubowan is dan ook van mening dat de kinderen met een goede opleiding in Sri Lanka beter af zijn, aangezien zij zo op eigen benen komen te staan. Dit sluit dan ook naadloos aan op zowel de doelstellingen van ons alsmede één van de millenniumdoelen.
Onderstaand de motiverende brief van de zuster alsmede wat details betreffende de vakken en de kosten die daarmee zijn gemoeid, zowel per "term" alsook voor een heel jaar:
We depend on these classes very much, as it has helped the students very much in the past. Parents too like this classes. Children love and enjoy this project. So please support us with this classes. We have already organized it for the coming months.
We have the following expenses for a term:

We have Students E. med. Gr.6-12 about 125. They are given extra classes for Maths, Science English and I.T.

We give help to the weaker 40 students in Maths.

Help is given for English, for all the students in Gr.11. for 160 children (paper classes).

Dit project is met goed gevolg afgerond. In het onderstaand e-mail bericht van ons lokale contactpersoon kan worden opgemaakt dat een grote bijdrage is geleverd aan de opleiding van kansarme kinderen.
Dear Mr.Gabriel,
I was waiting for the results of the G.C.E.O/L students. It was out last month, the public examination. Our students have done very well in the exam.
All the project students have passed in their Maths in the E medium and Tamil medium.
The credit goes to you for your kind support without which would not have achieved this. Science too they have done well.
One of our girls in the E medium got the first place in the district, and another got the third place. We want to congradulate them on our Annual Prize day we will have next month.
Dear Gabriel, it is because of the extra classes and the extra work we obtained these results.
Please our thanks to all the members of Ayubowan committee.
Also they have got their two English dramas first at the National level. The students travelling expenses were spent by your kind Institution.

De totale kosten voor dit project voor één jaar (3 "terms") zijn uitgekomen op LKR 169.680. Inclusief de transactiekosten en met de wisselkoersverschillen is dit uitgekomen op €1.171,94.
