Ieder tehuis dat aangesloten is bij het schrijfouderprogramma heeft in Nederland een contactpersoon. Deze contactpersoon is de schakel tussen het tehuis in Sri Lanka, het bestuur van Stichting Ayubowan en de schrijfouders. Alle aspecten van het schrijfouderschap zoals de administratie en de financiën worden uitgevoerd door deze contactpersonen. Contactpersonen verrichten hun werkzaamheden als onbetaalde vrijwilliger.

Momenteel zijn er 18 contactpersonen actief voor de 21 tehuizen die aangesloten zijn bij het schrijfouderprogramma. Een aantal contactpersonen vertegenwoordigt twee tehuizen terwijl een aantal tehuizen door het bestuur vertegenwoordigd wordt. (Dit laatste heeft o.a. te maken met het feit dat het tehuis nog maar kort is aangesloten of dat er nog slechts enkele kinderen een schrijfouder hebben. In alle gevallen mag u als schrijfouder echter rekenen op de volgende ondersteuning van uw contactpersoon; Na aanmelding als schrijfouder ontvangt u van uw contactpersoon uitgebreide informatie over het schrijfouderschap.
De contactpersoon zal regelmatig contact onderhouden met het tehuis in Sri Lanka. Vragen over het welzijn van uw schrijfkind(eren),

Tehuizen weergeven op een grotere kaart
Punaises geven de kindertehuizen aan en de "I's" de studiefinanciering projecten

studieresultaten, etc. kan hij/zij stellen en voor u beantwoord krijgen. De aan het schrijfouderschap gebonden financiële steun kan hij/zij (om kosten te besparen) collectief overboeken naar het tehuis. Dit zal (normaliter) twee maal per jaar plaatsvinden. Vanzelfsprekend krijgt u van uw contactpersoon een overzicht wat er voor uw schrijfkind(eren) is overgeboekt.
Minimaal twee maal per jaar ontvangt u een nieuwsbrief met informatie over Stichting Ayubowan en het tehuis van uw schrijfkind(eren). Tussentijdse informatie die van belang is, eventuele foto's, etc. zal hij/zij direct aan u doorgeven. |
